I thought bliss didn’t exist until demise

Until I saw my reflection in her pretty little eyes

It was a priceless picture, it was a priceless picture

Taken by gods own aperture

Some say she is a gift of love

Some say she is a teddy bear

Some refer her to light

I say she’s the day to every night

I thought only a maestro symphony could bring a million smiles

Until I saw her smiling while listening to my lullaby

It was a musical concert, it was a musical concert

Even when I knew it was just another blurt

Some say she is the gift of love

Some say she is a teddy bear

Some refer her to light

I say she’s’ the day to every night

When you’re numb, I‘ll be your feelings

When you’re hurt I swear I’ll be there healing

When you’re blue, I’ll make you happy

I’ll be your friend and remain a daddy

When you’re lost as you’ve grown and go farther

I’ll be your mentor and remain a father
